Eternal Ephemeral – an endless story

Eternal Efemer is part of the Contemporary ART jewelry series, it is a collection in which the conceptual component prevails, the functional and the aesthetic (in the generally accepted form) being secondary:

Birth, life, decay and death – this eternal ephemeral cycle surrounds us as a leitmotif.

It takes place every second incredibly similarly and regardless of whether it is us, the universe, galaxies, a microorganism or a cell:

The initial moment or the amorphous state that still has the creative potential, the potential of life.

The external force necessary to activate the creative potential from the initial, amorphous state.

Unleashing chaos as a result of changing the pre-existing balance.

The emergence of life – development, multiplication.

Reaching the peak, the need for incessant growth, exceeding resources.

Like the Tower of Babel, the collapse under the weight of its own expansion.

Rebirth in another form – life, energy always finds a way.

The ring is a pretext, a base for the element that symbolizes the life cycle. I opted for a semi-quota as a reference to the way the universe and the earth were represented in antiquity.

The materials used are metal, natural stones, plastic. The technique used is a combination of assembly and lost wax technique.
