The starting point was the stone, a trance tanzanite, brought by the customer, as a souvenir, from a trip to Africa and the idea that the jewelry must capture something of the exotic vibration of this continent.
We thought of 3 elements that define Africa: the bright disk of the sun, the rich textures and the oases that form around the meshes. I translated these elements as follows: yellow gold, cast in the form of a textured cap, on the surface of which sits the tanzanite, deep blue.
